For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a love for design. I’ve loved color and art my whole life! So much so, that I decided to major in it in college and begin a career in design. Here I am 18 years later with so much experience that I now feel comfortable starting my own business offering my expertise. Thankfully, God blessed me with a profession that allows me to use my gifts and talents on a daily basis.
Here’s a little more about me:
- I love Jesus and I know how blessed I am. Ask me more about this, if you’d like to hear it. He has saved my life on multiple occasions.
- I’ve been married to my college sweetheart for almost 15 years – just typing that is surreal! It’s absolutely crazy how quickly time goes.
- I’m Southern and proud of it! I was born and raised in South Carolina and am a die hard Gamecock fan. I will admit it’s not easy at times – but I’ll always bleed Garnet!
- I am a #boymom to two of the sweetest and funniest little guys. I dare you to try and hang around them without smiling and laughing! They are my everything.
- I love laughter. Thankfully my husband and I have the same sense of humor! Also, I will only watch comedies – no sappy love stories for me.
- My favorite beverages are coffee and wine – aka Mom fuel! It doesn’t get any better than sitting by our fire pit with a glass of red wine and Dove dark chocolate.
- As you can see, I have a hummingbird in my logo. If you’re wondering why, let’s just say… it’s quite a long story. I will say that I’ve had many, many experiences with hummingbirds over the course of my life. So much so that they have come to mean a lot to me.
- I grew up in the 80’s and 90’s and am so thankful to have had a childhood before the internet and social media existed. I am part of the last generation that grew up like this, and part of that makes me sad! I had the best childhood ever, thanks to my Mom and Dad for giving me so much to be grateful for. My Mom died almost 7 years ago, and I miss her more than I could ever explain here.
- My favorite bible verse is Phillippians 4: 6-7: Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
